SOLID WASTE (b. 2014 –) is an on-going collaborative project between contemporary artists/designers Ben Johnson & Cameron Platter, embracing criminal defence, foreign policy, online betting, soft power, meditation, group chats, self help, sexbots, knockoffs, florists, nuclear winter, and Adriana La Cerva for these present-day end-times. 

SOLID WASTE manifests through interactive adventure websites, publications, t-shirts, travel writing, sound, furniture, and other modern-day accoutrements. 

SOLID WASTE is committed to elevated designs, runway presence, versatility, premium fabrics, attunement to market forces, a reverence for studio detritus, and an approach to doing things DIY.
