Bangla Begum is a French artisan brand that tells stories through jewellery. Brand founder Fanny Boucher started Bangla Begum in Paris in 2019. "I describe my work as poetico-political jewelry. If you need a more palatable word, I am also fine with literary jewelry!" she says about her work. Fanny tries to put thoughts, humour and narrative elements into her pieces. Literature, the written word, is very important to her and it shows shows through her pieces.

To Bangla Begum, jewelry is not an accessory. It’s a medium, a shield, a talisman, sometimes a weapon and at the very least, a story.
