Strip-Stripe Balloon Trousers – Powder & Rust

The Strip-Stripe Balloon Trousers form part of Good Good Good’s greater Strip-Stripe Capsule, the brand’s newest solution that they have developed to work with the offcuts produced from regular T-shirt and fleece production runs at their 30-year-old heritage manufacturing facility in Woodstock, Cape Town. The manufacturing process behind this garment is arduous. With meticulous attention to detail, offcuts are selected by hand and cut down to strips. Strips need to be sewn together two at a time, then ironed straight, before adding any more. Eventually, the sheet of Strip-Stripe fabric is large enough to cut the panels of the trousers from. 

• Cut in Good Good Good’s wide-leg Balloon Trousers shape
• 4 pleats in the front and 2 darts in the back
• The hems on the legs of the trousers are pleated, tapering the trousers near the ankle, with 2 fastening options at the hems

• Two side pockets
• Two back pockets
• Drawstring in the waistband

• Finished with belt loops around the waistband and a zip fly-closure
• Embroidered Good Good Good logo on the left leg
• 80% cotton, 20% polyester French terry fleece
• Made out of upcycled fabric offcuts in Cape Town
