This T-shirt forms part of Good Good Good’s ‘Unsung Heroes’ Capsule Collection, which pays tribute to the Springboks’ 1995 Rugby World Cup victory. Using Good Good Good’s Strip-Stripe technique, this T-shirt takes inspiration from the New Zealand 1995 rugby jersey colours. The T-shirt is made up with fabric which is cut down to strips and then sewn together two at a time, then ironed straight, before being added to the rest of the strips. Eventually, the sheet of Strip-Stripe fabric is large enough to cut the panels of the T-shirt from. This T-shirt also features the number 11 of 1995 All Black player Jonah Lomu, widely considered rugby’s most feared player at the time, embroidered on the left chest, designed by Yay Abe.
