Good Good Good
1995 Strip-Stripe Shorts - New Zealand
This pair of shorts forms part of Good Good Good’s ‘Unsung Heroes’ Capsule Collection, which pays tribute to the Springboks’ 1995 Rugby World Cup victory. This patchwork short is made from 100% Southern African-sourced cotton single jersey strips, inspired by the colours of the 1995 New Zealand rugby kit. Embroideries on the knee regions including Jonah Lomu’s number 11, a silver fern-inspired emblem and Good Good Good’s RWC logo, all illustrated by Yay Abe. The shorts are finished with belt loops and a drawstring at the waistband, as well as a button and YKK-zip closure. The shorts also feature adjustable drawstrings at the hems of both legs which make the shape of the shorts customizable to the wearer.
