1995 Clubhouse Jersey – South Africa

The collared sweater forms part of Good Good Good’s ‘Unsung Heroes’ Capsule Collection, which pays tribute to the Springboks’ 1995 Rugby World Cup victory. The jersey features construction techniques borrowed from the brand’s Strip-Stripe Capsule, where offcuts are selected by hand and cut down to strips, before being sewn together two at a time, then ironed straight, before adding any more. Eventually, the sheet of Strip-Stripe fabric is large enough to cut the panels of the sweater from. This jersey is inspired by the colours of the 1995 Springbok rugby kit, and features embroideries of a springbok-inspired emblem and Good Good Good’s RWC logo, all illustrated by Yay Abe.
