The Big Five T-Shirt

The Big Five T-Shirt is one of three T-shirts that celebrate our store’s 5th birthday. The artwork on this T-shirt, illustrated by Flying Duck Design AKA Ziyaad Samsodien, takes inspiration from South Africa’s classic “Big 5” tourist tees, commonly found at airports and nature reserve gift shops around the country and showing Africa’s 5 most iconic animals – the lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. Our version sees five ducks dressed as the “Big 5”, depicted in an equally dramatic constellation as the original.
