The Streets Will Never Forget is a zine by illustrator Ziyaad Samsodien, also known as Flying Duck Design, about football and football culture. By Ziyaad’s definition, players that the streets will never forget are “players who defined an era, with skill and artistry which transcend the football pitch and echo through playgrounds, classrooms and workplaces.” The Streets Will Never Forget celebrates football and the geeky obsessions of the game’s fans. The zine is jam packed with illustrations of your favourite niche players, and five articles written by South African football fans, including Ziyaad himself, Nabeel Allie, Daniel Sher, Dumi Mparutsa, and Josquin du Toit.
