Our collaboration with Wanda Lephoto is founded in a 10-year journey of friendship, love and respect. When Daniel Sher, founder of Duck Duck Goose, first met Wanda in Johannesburg about a decade ago, they were young boys, passionate about South Africa and connecting their communities.
Our store has stocked Wanda Lephoto since its opening in December 2023 and we have manufactured many of Wanda’s garments in our heritage manufacturing facility, Together MFG, which has become known for its production of premium basics.
Wanda Lephoto’s Flower Appliqué is an important symbol of who the brand is, Wanda’s journey and the importance of constantly finding ways of watering and celebrating each other. By applying the appliqué flowers to a Duck Duck Goose hoodie, this garment is as unique as it is comfortable and durable.
The “Blooming of New Flowers” Hoodie is cut from an imported 100% cotton brushed French ferry fleece, and made in our 28-year-old heritage manufacturing facility in Woodstock, Cape Town. The hoodie features a drawstring in the hood, a kangaroo pocket, and ribbed cuffs at the end of the sleeves and the waistband. The hoodie is finished with “Duck Duck Goose” embroidered on the chest in black, and Wanda Lephoto’s signature Flower Appliqués attached all around the garment.
