Jana Hamman wears many hats – designer, artist, brand architect, ceramicist, fashion designer and probably many more that we’re unaware of. She is one half of unisex fashion brand Beau Beau, a lovechild collaborative brand named after her and her co-founder Paige Sher’s nicknames for one another. The brand takes inspiration from each of these 2 Beau’s respective hometown’s – Johannesburg (Jana) and Cape Town (Cape Town).
Perhaps best known for her prolific work and output as part of her brand consultancy Jana + Koos, her ties with our store and our founders runs deep – we’ve been consistently collaborating with her on creative projects since 2013. New-ish to the store is Cape Town sock brand MightyLongDog. Founded in 2021 by Eugene & Rene Labuschagne, the brand was named after their lengthy and very active sausage dog, Dash. Knitted on a Japanese knitting machine using South African sourced yarns, the socks are hand tailored for right and left feet. Formerly Executive Food …
