You must be living under a serious boulder if you don’t recognise the face of our next questionnaire recipient. Scattered all over the internet and known throughout the city, Andile “Ace” Dlamini’s story doesn’t require much introduction, but with the fast nature of his life, you might need an update. As a prominent member of the BROKE Boys, South Africa’s favourite boyband, and the creative director of the group’s flagship clothing brand, BROKE, Ace has been mastering the fine art of mobilising a cult fanbase since 2020. Ace is unbelievably accessible, seemingly in five places at once, all while assuring that he makes time to respond to all of his DMs. If the acquisition of keys to a new Wale Street retail and event space for BROKE and a BMW E30 is anything to go by, things are going quite well for Ace and the Broke dynasty. When he wasn’t teleporting around the city, we squeezed 11 answers out of Ace so that you can see what he’s been checking out to relax.
